This position is expected to be hybrid.

 

NYC Salary Range - $165,000 - $200,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

What you'll do

You will serve as a key partner to our Board of Directors, Volunteer Committees, and Executive Leadership Team—ensuring seamless coordination, strategic alignment, and operational excellence across the executive office. This high-impact role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

 

President & CEO Executive Support

  • Partner directly with the President & CEO and the Executive Support team to execute high-priority initiatives.
  • Oversee internal communications from the President & CEO in partnership with Corporate Communications.
  • Lead the planning and execution of internal leadership events, including Town Halls, Summits, and holiday gatherings.
  • Manage the Executive Office and Board/Volunteer budgets, travel arrangements, and event logistics for domestic and international meetings.
  • Liaise with global stakeholders, including high-level UN officials and credit union leaders.

 

Board, Volunteer & Committee Relations

  • Serve as a trusted liaison to the Board of Directors and associated volunteer committees.
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of materials for Board meetings, conferences, and strategic sessions.
  • Lead the coordination of the Annual General Meeting and Board Planning Session, including communications, travel, and event production.
  • Manage governance logistics such as Board elections, volunteer onboarding, and preservation of historical records.
  • Travel internationally with the Board and executive management up to three times a year.

 

Executive Operations Leadership

  • Coach and develop a high-performing executive support team, setting clear expectations and driving accountability.
  • Champion collaboration and consistency across the team to support senior leaders effectively.
  • Leverage systems and tools to streamline operations, improve productivity, and support organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.

 

Organizational Leadership & Compliance

  • Support the planning and delivery of leadership events in alignment with organizational protocols.
  • Maintain and safeguard corporate governance documents and ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Take on additional projects as needed to support the evolving needs of the executive office and Board.

What we're seeking

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications or similar and 7+ years of experience in executive leadership and/or Board support
  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership role
  • Adept at writing and editing business communications
  • Strong project management skills with experience juggling multiple high-profile tasks, allocating and optimizing resources, and managing timelines
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Professional and expense report software
  • Ability to travel internationally

What makes you stand out

  • Knowledge of the credit union industry, particularly member service experience, and the United Nations community preferred
