This position is expected to be hybrid.

 

NYC Salary Range - $93,540 - $120,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

What you'll do

  • Supervise daily card activities to ensure the team meets the Credit Union’s strategic objectives and targeted business results. Provide guidance and support to staff, ensuring uninterrupted departmental operations.
  • Monitor and identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships, providing support and coordination with internal partners in the branches and member service areas on operating procedures. Assist in the resolution of operational issues.
  • Ensure all department procedures are properly documented, kept current, and followed as written.
  • Support the administration of key tasks related to member service including card ordering, delivery, dispute resolution, and fraud claim processing.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors (e.g., Valera, Quavo, Thales,) to ensure smooth operational processes. Collaborate with IT services to support card processing and resolve issues as needed.
  • Oversee routine tasks related to ATM reconciliation, credit card payment processing, NSF processing, and Visa over-limit processing.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide guidance and support to ensure goals are met. Coach and develop staff to ensure they adhere to procedures and maintain high standards of service.
  • Provide ongoing training to staff and ensure proper documentation of processes is maintained and updated as necessary.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and UNFCU’s Code of Ethics & Business Conduct.

What we're seeking

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in a financial services environment with a concentration in card services
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Familiarity with consumer payment behavior in diverse global regions
  • Ability to upgrade both customer service and fraud measurement MIS reporting
