Our team is responsible for the design, development, deployment, maintenance and administration of Web/Middleware applications to support UNFCU’s business operations and growth by adopting DevOps principles. Demonstrate full stack knowledge and capability to work in all areas of the technology stack.

 

This position is expected to be hybrid. 

NYC Salary Range - $99,902 - $140,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

What you'll do

  • Regardless of seniority or role, uphold UNFCU’s mission, core values, and guiding principles by providing an exceptional service experience to colleagues and members alike through consistent demonstration of our service excellence behaviors.

  • Develop web & mobile applications leveraging Agile Scrum methodology and processes in Microsoft’s Team Foundation Server environment. Build and support applications on .NET, .Net Core & Java platforms.
  • Design and develop web/mobile applications on n-tier architecture leveraging MVC.net, Java and other standard application patterns.
  • Design and develop Rich User Interfaces/Experience using client side technologies such as JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, ReactJS, Bootstrap, CSS & HTML as well as knowledge in graphic design related tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain SOAP and/or REST compliant Web Services on Microsoft Technologies including Web API, WCF & Web API.. 
  • Perform Application Development using Agile and DevOps principles by adhering to the CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Delivery) pipeline principles.
  • Configure application builds and automated deployments using the Azure DevOps Build and Release features.
  • Design, document, implement, and maintain scripts for build and release processes.
  • Maintain source code in source code repositories such as Azure Devops (GIT), Bitbucket, etc.

What we're seeking

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems
  • 4+ years of development experience using Microsoft MVC .Net, AJAX, JQuery, Java Script, ReactJS, Bootstrap, MS SQL Server required
  • 4+ years of experience in Source code control, Build and Release management using Azure DevOps required
  • 4+ years’ experience in MVC.NET/Java/SQL Server Software design and development (Web Application and Web Services) with Agile Methodology
  • 2+ years’ experience in handling various DevOps tools with respect to build/release automation
  • 2+ years’ experience in handling various DevOps tools with respect to build/release automation
  • 2+ years’ experience in API Development using SOAP/REST
  • 2+ years’ experience in SQL/Stored Procedure Development in MS SQL Server & Oracle
  • 2+ years’ experience in Identity Management & Access Management using Forgerock/Ping journeys or equivalent
  • IIS Administration experience 
  • Foundational programming skills with Java
