Performs industry analysis and vendor product studies to design and implement changes in order to transform business operations. Responsible for supporting the planning, design and implementation of enterprise initiatives, focused on modernizing and optimizing our technology landscape, improving operational efficiencies, and enhancing the employee and member experience with technology.

 

This position is expected to be hybrid. 

 

NYC Salary Range - $95,070 - $130,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

What you'll do

  • Regardless of seniority or role, uphold UNFCU’s mission, core values, and guiding principles by providing an exceptional service experience to colleagues and members alike through consistent demonstration of our service excellence behaviors.
  • Work closely with vendor and business staff to align business strategy with vendor product features and improvements. 
  • Maintain vendor relationships, both strategically and tactically, to speed up project executions and promote product ideas that help to meet UNFCU’s goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on various enterprise applications, including but not limited to Fiserv DNA, Nautilus, Altair Monarch, BMC Remedy, Temenos LMS, etc.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other credit unions and banks through user groups such as FI community, Monarch User groups, etc.
  • Conduct regular system use studies and best practices sessions with business lines to identify areas of improvement opportunities in enterprise applications.

What we're seeking

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems
  • 5-7 years of banking/financial services applications experience
  • Working experience in Core Banking systems
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis, process mapping, and gap analysis
  • General understanding of all phases of the SDLC, as well as programming languages and system architecture
  • Strong facilitation skills and experience in leading workshops and stakeholder meetings
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders

What makes you stand out

  • Working experience with Fiserv DNA or similar
  • Proven track record of major system implementations and support, and an understanding of application development methodology, as well as project management exposure
