    The UX/UI Designer will be the champion of the digital experience for UNFCU. You will work as part of the Branding & Promotions team, as well as the Marketing Department, to help define the digital creative vision and design assets that support UNFCU’s brand integrity and member growth.


    Also be responsible for leveraging digital channels to promote UNFCU products, services, and initiatives; and front-end development of UNFCU (including UNFCU Foundation) websites to support growth of visitors and engagement.


    • Passionately support an end-to-end approach for design solutions that elevate the UNFCU brand experience across digital/web platforms.
    • Understand high-level messaging and business themes and deliver quick low-fidelity design concepts in collaboration with a cross functional team.
    • Deliver high-fidelity designs that effectively convey UNFCU messaging and brand.
    • Support building an environment for qualitative member research, iterative concept design, and creative testing methods to validate concepts.
    • Define and track metrics for measuring impact of promotional components across digital and web channels; while recommending improvements for campaign performance.
    • Implement and maintain UNFCU websites and channels such as email, landing pages and member statements.
    • Implement best practices for UNFCU websites and PPC advertising, as well as measure their impact on SEO and engagement.
    • Efficiently manage projects and timelines within the department review process.
    • Stay up to date on web/technology trends and usability, inside and outside of the financial services industry, to improve member experiences and team knowledge.
    • Develop collaborative relationships with external departments, agencies, and vendors.
    • Maintain strong understanding of UNFCU’s products, services, policies and procedures.



    • Bachelor’s degree; focus in design, web development, or related field is preferred
    • Minimum of three years of web design, including mobile responsiveness and knowledge of SEO
    • Experience delivering work for global/international audiences preferred



    • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, Sketch and Adobe Creative Cloud
    • Experience in Human-Centered design thinking, techniques and philosophy
    • Online portfolio required
    • Experience with PPC advertising, Google Analytics and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Exact Target) welcomed 


    • Excellent communication skills, with a conviction to champion your point of view while collaborating with others
    • Excellent project and time management skills
