  • Overview

    Identifies learning opportunities and designs engaging workshops, e-learning courses and virtual learning in support of UNFCU’s corporate strategy. Leverages adult learning principles in all phases of learning design and facilitation to build capabilities in foundational, professional and management skills for employees across the organization globally.


    • Identify learning objectives, performance gaps and performance outcomes by working collaboratively with program owners and subject matter experts
    • Oversee learning project lifecycle from intake, research, design, launch and some facilitation
    • Partner with eLearning Developer to ensure courseware is optimally designed for UNFCU’s LMS (learning management system) and learning culture/environment
    • Develop instructional materials (user guides, decision tables, scripts, story boards, etc.) to support learning objectives
    • Manage all aspects of curriculum for assigned programs, including maintenance and implementation.
    • Partner with third party vendors to develop and implement additional innovative learning solutions
    • Create metrics and methods to evaluate the impact of learning programs
    • Provide support and recommendations regarding training requests and oversee corporate training budget
    • Provide basic back-up support for LMS issues
    • Keep current on learning industry best practices and leverage these practices as appropriate


    • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of design and development experience
    • Experience in needs assessment, storyboarding and instructional design
    • Experience working in a corporate environment


    • Thorough knowledge of adult learning theory and practice
    • Ability to facilitate, design and evaluate diverse learning programs
    • LMS experience required; Saba LMS experience preferred
    • eLearning authoring tools experience a plus
    • Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
    • Strong project management skills

    • Ability to manage relationships at all levels throughout the organization
    • Ability to multi-task in an evolving environment
    • Work assignments require the use of independent judgment and interpretation
