  • Overview

    Partner with key stakeholders to identify learning opportunities and create engaging experiences in support of UNFCU’s corporate strategy. Leverages adult learning principles in all phases of learning design and facilitation to build capabilities in foundational, professional and management skills for global employees across the organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify learning objectives and performance outcomes by working collaboratively with program owners and subject matter experts to identify performance gaps and learning objectives
    • Oversee learning project lifecycle from intake, research, design, development and launch
    • Partner with eLearning Developer to ensure courseware is optimally designed for UNFCU’s LMS (learning management system) and learning culture/environment
    • Develop instructional materials (user guides, decision tables, scripts, story boards, etc.) to support learning objectives
    • Facilitate various organization-wide instructor-led and virtual instructor-led courses
    • Partner with third party vendors to develop and implement additional innovative learning solutions
    • Create metrics and methods to evaluate the impact of learning programs
    • Provide support and recommendations regarding training requests and oversee corporate training budget
    • Provide basic back-up support for LMS issues
    • Keep current on learning industry best practices and leverage these practices as appropriate

     

    Qualifications

    TYPE & AMOUNT OF EXPERIENCE:
    • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of designing, developing, and facilitating blended learning programs
    • Experience in creating engaging and innovative eLearning content across a range of topics
    • Experience in needs assessment, visual design, storyboarding and script design
    • Experience working in a corporate environment

     

    TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
    • Thorough knowledge of adult learning theory and practice
    • Ability to design, develop, facilitate, and evaluate diverse learning programs
    • LMS experience required; Saba LMS experience preferred
    • eLearning authoring tools experience preferred
    • Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
    • Strong project management skills

    In addition to any specific job requirements in connection with Bank Secrecy Act and/or OFAC (BSA), employee must (i) be aware of BSA matters commensurate with the position; (ii) report any suspicious activity to the manager or compliance department; and (iii) satisfactorily complete any required BSA training.
